Nick and Lazuli

Nick Nui was an orphan boy who once lived in an orphanage ran by the dreaded pirate Matthew and his wife.  After a series of events, he moved in with a family of Lazurites: blue skinned creatures of a dwarf-like stature.

Among these Lazurites was one named "Lazuli," a good friend to him in his later childhood.

Sometime after Nick and Lazuli reached adulthood, several faces of their past returned, and the mysteries of a repressed past were revealed.
